 		 Installation Program

If you received the installation CD (with the freeware FMS), just click on [Download/Install Backyard Edition XL] to initiate the download. Due to licensing agreement with MachineWorks, you must "download" the download version.

  The installation program is a self-extracting installation program (beinstall1#xl.exe, # denotes the release). Upon execution, the installation is straight forward (a few clicks on next, next,... are all that's needed to install Backyard Edition XL.

unlock key entry		 Unlock Key Number

Backyard Edition is copy-protected, and licensed for use on one PC only. For operation, you will need to obtain an unlock key. Once unlocked, the software will then run unrestricted on the installed machine.

When you start BEXL for the first time, the program will prompt for an [unlock key]. This unlock key is a number sent to you via email upon registering your [serial code].

You will need to email us (rcsim@tti-us.com) the [serial code]. Usually within 24 hours, an [unlock key] will be sent to you. Just copy and paste the [unlock key] to the initial dialog and click [Unlock!].
